This is a true find in beautiful Chalkidiki. The Ekies Resort is a very well designed – typical greek, but still modern – family resort. It is located at a quiet bay of the mediterranean sea, with it’s own serviced beach right in front of the beautiful hotel’s terrace. The area is amazing with great local food (there are a couple of restaurants further down the beach), and the waters are as carribean as Europe is able to offer. We rented a boat and did a 45 minutes trip to super amazing deserted little islands and beaches where we were the only people as far as the eye can see. As a plus, buzzing Thessaloniki is only an hour away, and worth an overnight if you happen to fly in there.

Ekies is definitely great for couples, but especially well equiped for young families (without the feeling of disturbance).
